Roma are planning to change their No. 9 striker in the 2024-25 season from Tammy Abraham. An English striker to Jonathan David, a Canadian football striker from Lille.

Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport reports that. Roma are waiting for an offer from Abraham this summer. Knowing the Premier League club’s demands, and could move on to buy Lille’s David as a replacement.

According to reports, Giallorossi coach Daniele De Rossi is planning with new sporting director Florent Gisolfi on the summer transfer market both in and out. With one of the main targets being a centre-forward, with Canadian international David. But on the condition that Abraham can be sold first. UFABET

In addition to Roma’s David, Torino right-back Raul Bellanova is also a target for De Rossi. With the Granata unlikely to sell the highly sought-after right-back for less than €20m.

For Abraham, the move from Chelsea saw him have a good first season with Roma, scoring 27 goals in 53 games in all competitions. But struggled in his second year, scoring just nine goals in 54 games. Before suffering a long-term injury and resulting in his return towards the end of last season, scoring just one goal.

A sale in 2023 does not seem out of question for the Serie A side, who would have had the forward for at least 18 month. Roma are confident of securing “robust compensation” for the No 9, who was loaned out three times by Chelsea.
